Transport
Before a child/young person starts at Reddish Hall School, the local authority (LA) will work with the family to assess what the most suitable arrangements for transport to and from school are. It may be that parents are able to transport to and from school, or that the student will be an independent traveller.
Or it could be that the student is eligible to funded transport via the local authority.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Can the school arrange transport for my child?
Transport is something that school have very little to do with, while we can signpost parents and carers to further advice and support, we are not best placed to offer advice and support.
Who will make sure that my child gets on the transport?
At the end of the school day, our staff will ensure that each child is safely escorted to their parent/carer, parent/carer vehicle, or LA funded transport.
What if I’m unhappy with the transport service?
LA funded transport as this is managed entirely by the LA – we have no say on pickup and drop off points, routes used, times allocated, or issues with LA transport employees.
